Just a small-town girl that saw an Afghan Hound and wanted one. In 1977, I volunteered at the Xanadu Kennels of Johanna and Roger Tanner. I wanted to learn the whole thing from the poop up. She had a saluki and I fell in love. I got my first feathered grizzle saluki and was hooked. I waited 2 years for my first smooth from. Kenmar-Knoll, Mary-Ellen and Ken Gorske. Ch. Kenmar-Knoll Nihaati and she was my heart dog and best friend. I have imported salukis from Switzerland, Moscow, Czech Republic, Finland and Australia. I moved to California in 2010 and by 2013, I was back in the show world. Presently, I have one saluki from the Czech Republic and two salukis from the Timaru Salukis of Lesley, and I added one from the Crisnick Kennels of Nichola and Christian Lawton of Australia.
